Notes From W's Diary, November 7, 2006

Worst night ever. I can’t begin to describe how angry I am with KR tonight. I should have seen this coming. He said one thing and then BAM out of nowhere something like this happens. Absolutely disastuorous. I don’t think I’m going to talk to him for like three days.

I was expecting our normal Tuesday night, but KR wouldn’t let me watch Dancing with the Stars. He made me watch Fox News. They report, you decide. Well I report that they suck, and I am the decider. Yes I’ll get to watch the result show on Wednesday, but it’s not the same. I hope Emmitt makes it to the finals…GO COWBOYS!!!

After watching the boring news with KR, DC (Dick is short for Richard…learn something new every day), and DR for a little while I got up to get a snack. Man I love Doritos. Finished off a bag of Cool Ranch, just love that name, I got a cool ranch too.

When I got back to the den, it was just KR and DC, DR had gone.

KR was all like, “We’ve lost.”

And I was all, “Emmitt?!? You guys watched it without me? Damnit. Did he fall or something?”

DC started yelling about something, and I said, “Dick or Richard, whatever your name is, it’s ok. The American people haven’t voted yet, they vote after tonight’s show. There’s still a chance for Emmitt to make it to the finals. I mean who is he up against, that A.C. Slater guy and the bald one from Blossom?”

Then KR and DC started whispering to each other. I hate when they do that. DC left the room.

KR came up to me and put his hand on my shoulder and said something like, “Sir, we’ve lost. There are a couple of things I need you to do tonight. Make a few phone calls and a few changes.”

He went on to say a few more things about how I needed to call some woman about lunch. I also need to give old Rummy, I mean DR a call. I’ll call them in a little bit. But unlike KR and DC, I don't think it’s over for Emmitt yet. I hadn't voted yet. You only get five votes per phone line, but we got tons of different phone lines around here. And then you can vote online. I must have voted for Emmitt like 500 times by now. If only we could do that at the voting booth, that would be sweet. I’ll mention that one to Karl on Friday when I’m talking to him again.

Oh crap, it’s like three in the morning. I think KR said that woman was on the West Coast, so it’s like nine there. I’ll give her a call, and deal with DR in the morning. GO EMMITT.
